Get the alerts
Each email says what changed, who it affects and what to check in 5 minutes, in plain words.
What one alert looks like
A short version, written from a real change of October 8, 2026.
Example
Google Tag Manager will stop waiting for gtag('config'): what to check
What changed
On October 8, 2026, Google said that Google Tag Manager containers will start as soon as they load, without waiting for gtag('config'), and that those commands will show up in the dataLayer as gtag.config events.
Who it affects
Stores that use Tag Manager and also run gtag('config') commands, for example from the theme or a plugin. And containers with a trigger that fires on every event.
Check in 5 minutes
In Tag Manager, click Preview and open your store.
Look for
gtag.configin the list of events. If a tag fired on it, check its trigger.
If you find it
The fix for each case, step by step, is in our guide.
What you get, and what you don’t
- At most 2 emails a month. Some months none.
- Only changes from official sources, each with its link.
- What changed, who it affects, what to check in 5 minutes.
- Sometimes an offer from us. Never a sales sequence.
- No tracking pixel, and we never share your address.
Where the alerts come from
We follow the official release notes and help pages of Google, Meta and Shopify. An alert goes out only when a change from an official source needs something from you. Each alert links to that source.
Each alert is drafted from its source, and our team checks the facts and the steps before it goes out. The sender is TrueCount, [email protected].
Questions
How often will I get an email?
Only when a change can break your numbers: at most 2 a month, and some months none. When there are more changes, we put them into one email.
How do I stop?
Click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any email. Or just reply and ask.
Are the alerts in Hebrew?
Not yet. For now they are in English. Hebrew alerts start later, with their own form.
Can I forward an alert to a client or a developer?
Yes. The 5-minute check is written so anyone can follow it. Each alert also has a short part for agencies: what to tell clients.
Can I read past alerts?
None has gone out yet: the first one goes out when a change needs it. Until then, our blog covers recent changes.
What happens to my address?
We use it only to send the alerts. It is kept at Brevo, our email service, on servers in the EU. The details are in our privacy policy.
Rather have a person look at your tracking now?
The free check needs only your store address and comes back within 1 business day.
